![]() One of the latest evolutions in the implantation field and one of the most sought after by attentive patients who require a fast and practical solution for their problems, is the All-on-4 / All-on-6 technique. This is a technique that enables to perfectly associate surgery, technology, aesthetics and a minimum of invasiveness with significant advantages both on an aesthetic and a functional point of view. The patient’s first visit is subject to a thorough odontological evaluation. By using our equipment we are now immediately able to obtain radiographies, volumetric scanning (TC), photos with the various projections necessary and imprints of the dental situation or the dental ridge in case of edentulism. For the positioning of the implants, we use the areas where a sufficient bone volume is usually maintained, namely, the front part of the jawbone and the front part of the lower jaw, contained among the two chin foramens. Implants on the backside are in an inclined position so as to simultaneously obtain a good insertion into the bone and stable support to the molar area. In case of severe atrophies of the upper jaw where even the use of inclined implants is not possible, jugal implants are used, utilizing a cheekbone anchorage. The prosthesis with which the patient comes out at the end of the operation is temporary resin prosthesis. After 3 to 6 months, when osteointegration of implants is completed, the final permanent prosthesis, which is made and implanted with a titanium core (specifically created in Sweden by a sophisticated milling process) together with 12 ceramic teeth. This type of operation and the creation of a permanent prosthesis during the same day require the support of a team and a proven and efficient organization of which Hospitadella has been able to develop over the years. We may also be able to operate the day after the first examination, if the patient should request it. |
